The following describes the logistics plans for Fall construction projects that will impact campus pedestrian and vehicular pathways.

Logistics Details: The construction laydown area is located between Messick Building and McGinnis and will be surrounded with fencing. Pedestrian Walkways between Student Plaza and Messick Building will remain open during construction.
Building 141 PASS Clinic Renovation

Logistics Details: The parking lot behind building 141 will be used for Construction parking and laydown for this project and for the concurrent roof project. Traffic for Reade, 1st and Cotanche Streets will not be affected.
Clark-LeClair Renovation & Expansion

Logistics Details: The parking area between Clark-LeClair and Charles Blvd. will be fenced off for contractor parking and laydown, as will a portion of the parking lot immediately in front of the Stadium. Vehicular traffic on roads around the stadium will not be impacted.
Indoor Practice Facility

Logistics Details: The Indoor Practice Facility Building Site will be fenced off. This fencing will take up a portion of the parking off of Charles Blvd. and the tennis court area. Normal traffic flow will continue outside of the fenced areas.
Whichard Building Comprehensive Renovation

Logistics Details: Contractor parking along Beckwith Drive and E. 5th Street will be marked. Vehicular traffic should not enter Wright Circle. Pedestrian traffic will need to follow the designated pathways in and around the Trustees Fountain and adjacent buildings.
Greene Residence Hall Fire Alarm Panel Relocation

Logistics Details: Contractors will have permits to park in specific spaces at the Life Sciences and Biotechnology Building. There will be two parking spaces for contractors to use for loading and unloading supplies between Greene Residence Hall and Eakin Student Recreation Center. Those spots will be blocked off when not actively loading or unloading.
Howell Science South Building

Logistics Details: Construction laydown areas located south of the Howell complex will be fenced off. The Bus Stop on Ormond Way will be pushed back 2 spaces. Pedestrian pathways will be indicated with directional signage (includes ADA access.)
Modernize Four Elevators – Messick and McGinnis

Logistics Details: Contractor parking and laydown areas will be fenced off on Alumni Lane, and between Messick Building and The School of Theatre and Dance. The pathway between Messick Building and The School of Theatre and Dance can be accessed by pedestrians via a ramp and stairs. Vehicular traffic along Alumni Lane and Leary Court will not be impacted. Elevators will not be operating during this construction period.
Nursing Classroom Upgrades

Logistics Details: The Contractor for this project will have two marked parking spaces available to them near the building. That and the material staging area, located at the end of the service access between the College of Nursing Building and Ross Hall, should not affect main traffic flow – vehicular or otherwise – around the College of Nursing.
Warren Life Sciences Advanced Energy Recovery AHU-1

Logistics Details:
- Area of work within the Warren Life Science Building shall be limited to mechanical room 155. Any other access shall be specifically requested and coordinated with ECU construction project manager.
- Access to the mechanical room shall be provided through the exterior roll-up door.
- The contractor is allowed to use the grass area ajacent to the building generator for material laydown. The contractor is responsible for providing fencing and security if materials are stored outdoors.
- Large material deliveries shall be coordinated with the ECU construction project manager if West Campus Loop Lanes need to be blocked. Access to the loading dock area shall be maintained during at all times.
- Anticipated delivery pathway from Stantonsburg Rd is down service drive and the West Campus Loop to Moye Blvd.
- The contractor will need to be aware of the nearby Brody building renovation and ongoing site improvements in the area.
- The contractor is responsible for providing temporary restroom facilities for workers. Access to building restrooms will not be provided.
- Parking shall be coordinated with ECU construction project manager. Grass parking within the laydown yard and campus visitor parking is available.
MC Replacement Steam to Whichard Building Phase 2
