Local Pumpkin Patches

It is finally that time of the year again where the leaves are changing colors and the autumn air is cool and crisp in the mornings. This means one thing: spooky season is upon us! What better way to celebrate this season than supporting local farmers, businesses, and community fundraisers by visiting local pumpkin patches. Here is a list of some great places to visit this October.

Pumpkins

  1. Briley’s Farm Market

Briley’s is a third-generation, family-owned farm located here in Greenville. They sell produce and during the fall season, open their farm for their annual pumpkin patch. Admission costs fifteen dollars, but you get access to so many things including a pumpkin and sunflower of your choice, a corn and sunflower maze, a hay ride and so much more!

  2. Deans Farm Market

Deans is located less than an hour away from Greenville. The Farm Market was established in 1965 and focuses on making farm to table dishes more accessible for community members while supporting the local economy.  They sell locally grown produce, have a kitchen and a country store that you can visit year-round. In the fall they host a pumpkin patch that includes Spookley the Square Pumpkin, a Soybean Maze and more.

Located in Winterville, NC, Temple hosts an annual pumpkin picking 7 days a week. They have a huge variety of pumpkins to pick from that are transported from farmers throughout North Carolina.
